I have embedded videos into a number of powerpoint slides but when I play them sometimes the top of the video is cut off. The original video is fine but after they are embedded the heads are cut off. what am I doing wrong?


I am using Powerpoint for Mac 2011

To answer my own question, the problem was that these older videos were in 4:3 aspect ratio and the slides were in 16:9 aspect ratio. Therefore the tops and bottoms of the videos were cut off. The solution was to recreate the slides using the 4:3 aspect ration and then embed the videos. Problem solved.
