Default How Did You Do It?!

I have a very similar problem with the same error message. I created a ppt presentation on my pc, PPT 2007, and packaged it to copy to external hard drive. As it was copying to the external hard drive, an error message came up that not all active content could be copied. The only thing missing was the videos which I copied into the ppt folder.

I installed a full copy of PowerPoint 2007 on the laptop and updated it, I installed a full version of Media Player on the laptop and updated it, I installed Adobe Flash Player Active X and Shockwave Player on the laptop. I made sure the “Mark as Final” was off on the copied presentation, I made sure all the menu items for enabling macros and active X controls were on and still I get the same error message you did.

I can't manually embed the Active X or Shockwave Player files in the presentation because all of the control icons are grayed out. That's why I took off the "Mark as Final" so it wouldn't be read only.

Tell me the secret! What did you find out?
