Hi,
Following the MS tutorial, in slidemaster view I select the footer, click on Home, change the font size. But it only changes the font size for that particular Slidemaster slide.
How do I apply the font size change to all slides, not just the one?

You need to change the size on the large Slide Master at the top. (The smaller ones are Custom layouts)

There's a catch though IF you have changed the text size manually on any of the layouts PPT assumes that is what you want and will not update to match the master.

Ah - got it, thankyou. You mean the left-hand pane, the outline view of slides in a vertical column
I hadn't realized that when you generate a new pptx that left-hand column doesn't show the top-most slide - you have to scroll up to see it. All is clear.
