![]() The presentations that were set up in PPT 2007 and PPT 2010 do not display correctly in PPT 2013. They are all .PPTX files. It seems the fonts display wider (or bigger) in PP2013. For example, if I have a heading in PPT 2010 set at 28 pts, I have to change it to 24 pts or less or else it overflows in PPT 2013. PPT 2013 is running on Windows 8.1. I've checked the slide ratio. My slides are set to 4:3. Microsoft says anything with a .pptx should all display the same but they do not. This is driving me crazy because I set up a lot of powerpoints and sometimes I'm using PPT 2010 and sometimes PPT 2013. But my design computer is running PPT 2010 so those presentations have to show correctly in PPT 2013. Anyone have any ideas or has anyone else experienced this? Thanks in Advance. JWJ |

Are you sure the font isn't changing? If the font used is not present on the 2013 PC it will substitute something else (maybe larger)

You are correct. It was a font issue. I thought I had checked the fonts between Windows 7 & 8 and I was using a common one. I wasn't. I had selected Tw Cen Mt Body which isn't included on the Windows 8 computer. Installing that font on the Windows 8 computer (which is running the PowerPoint 2013) solved my problem.
Thank you for your quick response. |
