locked in show view

I have saved one presentation in Show view and run it several times. Now, not only the .ppsx files but also the .pptx files will only open in show view. How do I get out of show view?

I think you need to right click on the file and then click "open with" select powerpoint for the program. See if that works.

Tried that doesn't work however I have learned that you must turn off graphics acceleration in the setup slideshow tab. problem disappears

Hi Bruce

That is often a sign that you need to update your graphics card driver.
