Powerpoint shapes have default "anchors" at cardinal points (north, south, east, west) that "connector arrows" will snap to.
To add anchors at other, non-cardinal points, I convert the shape to a Freeform (under Format > Edit Shape) and then add new points. This all works great, BUT arrows always snap to the new anchors from the *right side* of the shape (not from the "outside" of the shape, which could be either left or right). Please see attached image. |
