Unhappy Out of Office Outlook 2007

I would like to use the out-of-office feature as an auto-reply function. It would be more beneficial than an auto-reply rule since the application would not have to be running. I would like, however, not to have the verbiage "out-of-office" show up is the outgoing message subject line. Is there any way this can be modified?

Thanks,

Rick
