I've got a very strange occurrence that I'd like to run by everyone here to see if they've ever seen anything like it.



We're running Outlook 2007 / Exchange Server 2003 SP2 in our environment. With a couple of users, they're experiencing strange lock-ups with Outlook when they're scanning through their sent items.

If they start at the top of the list (by date, we'll say for this example), when they eventually hit an item that was a meeting request to them (from an outside party) that they forwarded to someone else, Outlook will freeze up. I don't think it's a hard freeze, but it's multiple minutes, almost always long enough that it isn't worth waiting on, but they instead will just force close OUTLOOK.EXE.

Is this something that anyone has ever seen before? I can try and provide a video or another case instance if that will help, I know the description above is fairly vague, but it's a weird case that I have not been able to fix at this point.
