I am trying to figure out if there is a way to prevent users from being able to click on hyperlinks inside of emails they receive. We currently use Outlook 2003 but are going to be upgrading to Outlook 2010.
I have tried deleting the following registry key. HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Classes\htmlfile\shell \open\command While this does exactly what we want it to do, it also prevents links in Word and Excel from opening up. Switching to plain text is not an option for us. Also, I know that Outlook will not allow users to open links if the email is located inside the Junk E-mail folder, but I would like to be able to extend this functionality to the Inbox as well. Thank you for your help. |
