I just installed outlook 2007 and had exactly the same problem until installing the latest service packs from microsoft, so I was wondering if they put in a fix since September. I am still having problems with outlook crashing whenever I do anything that requires it to download information from the internet--even in safe mode, so if you have any clue about fixing that I would appreciate it.
