Any help greatly appreciated...
My wife's laptop crashed she was using Outlook to read email from a pop account. I managed to recover the .pst file that Outlook was writing to and thought that would be the end of it. On opening the pst on the new computer almost all emails from last 2 months are not there even thought the recovered pst was last modified the day before the crash. Have ran the Scanpst which said it found errors but still no emails. Where are they? Could Outlook have saved them soemwhere else? Thanks |

Is the "new computer" Outlook 2003 or newer? Older Outlooks used a database that has a 2G limit.

Don't use the scanpst, it can recover the pst file but it lost some data and sometimes a lot of data. Unfortunately you need to find one of commercial tools to recover the pst file.
