Just to add that I also am experiencing the same issue after last night's update. I am reassured that others are having the same joy. I do have a copy of Office 2010 which I have not gotten around to installing. I may try that and see if it doesn't solve the problem prior to walking back the update. I will advise if that solves the problem..
