Sync outlook and exchange calendars

I have outlook setup and I have no problems receiving or sending email. I cannot however, add events in outlook that transfer to the exchange calendar and visa versa. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So we can assist in troubleshooting your issue can you answer a few questions:

1. Are you receiving any errors when creating events in your Outlook calender?

2. What version is your exchange platform.

3. Do you have access to Outlook Web Access so you can test the calender synchronization by creating a meeting or event in OWA and see if Outlook synchronizes?

4. Is your PC on the correct time and date?

1. Are you receiving any errors when creating events in your Outlook calender? I do not receive any errors. I can create an event in outlook and it will show on the outlook calendar, but not the exchange calendar. I can also create an event in the exchange calendar, but it never shows in outlook.

2. What version is your exchange platform. I’m not exactly sure. I think it is 2007. I thought this was a compatibility issue so I tried to set this up on my laptop which has Outlook 2007, but I got the same results. Must be user error.

3. Do you have access to Outlook Web Access so you can test the calender synchronization by creating a meeting or event in OWA and see if Outlook synchronizes? Yes, I have access to creating an event or meeting

4. Is your PC on the correct time and date? The time and date are correct.

This appears to be a connectivity issue with your client connecting to your exchange account.

Did you ever import a calender into your Outlook client?

Did you ever remove the origanal calender then add at a later time.

Does your exchange provider offer a configure tool so you can dump your current profile and connect to your exchange mailbox?

This might be a stupid question, but do you have multiple accounts in your Outlook, so that it could mean you are keeping a calander in an other e-mail account.

You will propperly look at this question scepticly, but I had ALOT of users who had this..
