Dell Pro Slim PC Computer Windows 11 V 1000.29429.1000.0 Microsoft 365 Office Copilot V19.2512.49061.0 (Microsoft 365 Personal?) Outlook V1.2025.1208.200 New Older Outlook V16 Hello: I want to copy data from my older computer with Outlook to my new Outlook. Having a hard time in doing this. See the attachment #1. I know I have to click on Export Comma Separated Values and then do not know what folder/file to click on (to save); That is, Outlook Data files 6-4-23 Or syberguyxxx @ outlook.com Also, I use Outlook only for Contacts (including Notes), Tasks, Emails and Calendars. And none of the other features, generally speaking. Further, I believe there are two data bases, but use only one of them. Any help will be most appreciated, Se Se |

For Contact Export/Import see this article and click on the "New" or Classic" tabs.
Import or export contacts in Outlook using a .csv file - Microsoft Support You can save the CSV file anywhere you want. When you Import you will be ask to point to where you put it. The two databases in Classic Outlook are PST files that store all of your data. If you decide to use Classic Outlook (instead of New) you can simply copy the PST you are using to your new machine and Open/Add it to Classic Outlook. Open and close Outlook Data Files (.pst) - Microsoft Support |

Thanks Hornblower409, for taking the time to reply.
The thread you directed me to should help; "Screenshots can help! Here's how to insert them:" The attachment#1 was a MS Word document and within was several "Screen Captures" of my Older Outlook Pop up screen (showing where to send/copy the exported data backup). I just to not have the time currently to solve my problem and read up on all this.. sorry since you were prompt in helping me. Perhaps next week or two I will get to all of this. Have a good Holiday Season, Se Se (NYC) |
