Hi all,
Has anyone come across this issue before? When we try to move emails from the Inbox to an existing subfolder, we get an error saying:
"You've reached the maximum limit. Please delete old emails."


Is there any workaround for this besides creating a new subfolder to move the emails into? Appreciate any suggestions or fixes that have worked for you

Are you sure that it is only complaining about the size of the subfolder? That's a generic error, but Outlook usually uses it when your total mailbox size is too large.

After deleting (or archiving) old messages, compress the pst file to reclaim space:


Right-click the top-level mailbox in the folder pane of the main Outlook UI.


Choose "Data File Properties..."


Choose "Advanced"


Choose "Compact Now"
