I have been trying to configure my Hotmail live account with my outlook ever since I changed to 2007 and I have not been able to get it to work. I follow the steps but it just keeps telling me that it is denied on the server. I usually configure it as a http server then I found this page that said if it is a hotmail live account I must set it up as a pop3 server. i followed the directions but it still would not connect to hot mail.

What is the secret how do you connect to hotmail live?



What has to be configured in outlook because I do not just need my user name and password because this does not work on my outlook 2007 at home either. I sign on all the time through the browser but not through outlook.

If that doesn't work, you can always use the Hotmail Connector for outlook.

If this doesn't work (what doesn't seem likely :P) There ARE some other sollutions, but just try this first
