Hello!

I'm using Outlook 2010 (without other Office programs -incl. Word). Check spelling as you type doesn't work.

I checked with MS support and they confirmed that this doesn't work without Word installed.

Does anyone know of any (free) spellcheker that I could use with Outlook?

Unfortunately, Outlook works with office products the best and is recommended that word be used.

When you send a message does it not spell check before sending?

I do know Google has a spell checking system that will allow you to type in a word. However, Microsoft Word is by far one of the best programs for this situation.
