Unhappy Unable to update password, as 'that isn't your current password', even though it is?

Upon trying to log in to my Outlook email, it says that:
'Your account is at risk. To help you - and only you - get back into [email], we need to verify your identity.'

I have then successfully entered the verification code that was text to me, and moved to the 'Update your password' page. This is where I have a problem.

On this page, every time I have entered my current password, it says 'Try again - that isn't your current password.' I have definitely entered in correctly and it is the correct password, and in order to have reached this point in the log-in, I would have had to enter it correctly in the first place. How do I reset my password and access my account if it keeps saying this?

The troubleshooting details name it as Error Code 120000.
