should i install icloud with outlook 2016?

Chatham, late to the thread but just read your question and wanted, if not too late,respond. I currently and have used iCloud for Windows (now 64 bit, 10) for years along with my iPhone, iPad and Outlook 2016. It works flawlessly for syncing email, contacts and calendar. I have the latest updates on all devices. It also is good for backing up those items to the cloud. It does have to be installed as a separate application on the PC but that is easy to download and do.
