I have two Outlook accounts, one fairly old which is never used, and a recent one which I wish to use on a permanent basis. When I log in I am always taken to the old account from which I have to log out and then log in again.



I would like to know if it's possible to delete the old account but having followed some instructions about doing it from MS I always arrive at a point where the option stated is not available on this old account.

I wonder if there is some simple way to do this without upsetting the new account. Any help greatly appreciated.
