After upgrading memory from 8GB to 16GB Outlook 2010 32 bit (Windows 10 64 bit) started acting strange. Emails that I had formerly received had their font size reduced. Also a space appeared after these lower case letters: f i j l r t. This does not happen on every email. It mostly happens on personal email and not from companies. Also moving from one email to another is awkward. Also when I compose mail the same thing happens and I cannot send it.
I reinstalled the old 8GB memory but the problem did not go away. This problem seems to happen only to outlook. word, excel and other programs work fine. when I copied and pasted the queer text to notepad the spaces disappeared. When I pasted them to word they remained. When I pasted them to word prefect the program stopped working. Any suggestions as to what's happening and how I can fix it? Thanks, Al |

After trying several repair options to no avail, I restored windows to an earlier version before the 5/21 upgrade and before the installation of the memory. This fixed the outlook problem. However when I bring up control panel it remains onscreen for 10 seconds and disappears. This problem arose at the same time as the outlook problem. The control panel problem remains.
Any suggestions? |
