Hi Everyone!
I'm a total newbie to Mac, and I have a new MacBook Air 11" running OSX Lion; so I could really use some help. I just installed Office 2011, and imported my Outlook 2010 .PST file from my PC. All my mails, contacts, tasks and calendar events were imported, and all seems fine. However, I've noticed that some of the contact information, namely the birthdays, were lost and reset to the import date, and so were their corresponding calendar entries. I went back to Outlook 2010 on my PC to check, but they were fine. FYI, the .PST file on my PC was exported using: File-> Open-> Import-> Export to a file-> Outlook Data File-> selected all folders/sub-folders. Just to be sure, I deleted all the imported folders on my Mac, and did a new export from my PC, this time only the Contacts folder. After importing that to my Mac, the same problem persists. The strange thing is, it affects only some of the entries, but not all. Does anyone else have a similar problem, or may have any idea what I could have done wrong? Thanking one and all in advance, and hoping for some help. Sofia |
