I just have one comment to add. MS wants to store the email templates in the same folder, \Application Data\Microsoft\Templates, as the Word templates. This is confusing for me, so I put them in a \Email subfolder. I was delighted to learn that the subfolder appears in the template list when loading the templates.

I couldn't make sense of this one either.
