Win10/MS Office365/Outlook 2016
Problem: The credentials for Outlook.com, 1 of 2 email accounts, do not ‘stick’ despite checking off the box to remember same when the dialogue box appears at random times after Outlook loads. I understand that I can create a new profile to likely resolve the problem but would rather not since the other email account is a PITA to setup/install. I was told that I could Add the identical Outlook.com account to Outlook and same would be automatically named something like xxxx@Outlook.com(2) and once the account had finished synchronizing I could then delete the original, identical, problematic Outlook.com account. No go. I added the new, identical outlook.com email account, was prompted by Outlook that the event was successful and to restart Outlook for the change to take effect. I did that (Note: if an authenticating email was necessary or supposed to be a part of the process, same did not arrive before I restarted Outlook or after). Upon restart Outlook still had the same 2 email accounts as prior to my 'successfully adding' the third, identical to the existing Outlook.com account. ? Mark |

Per MS this is a known bug with accounts migrated to their Exchange servers and is in process of being fixed at their servers.
