Default BCM does not install in Windows 10

When I migrated from w8.1 to w10 Office seemed to migrate well, I recently started to use business contact manager (outlook 2010) however it started crashing when I tried to set a contact up. Add ins were enabled but no good. So I deleted BCM from control panel and tried to install it again both from the original DVD and also from the download. It installed SQL svr mssmlbiz and has chart controls for .net305, however it would not install the business contact manager part of the programme, although it came up with the end picture saying it was installed. But it is not. So basically I need to reinstall business contact manager in Windows 10 pro. Any ideas. Have done all the google stuff.
