I have some contacts in a Gmail account that I have exported as CSV in both Outlook and Google format.
However when I open up Outlook 2013 and go to File, Import and choose the CSV file (either the Outlook format or the Google format) and map the fields I get the message Could not complete the operation because the service provider does not support it. What is the problem here? Can anyone enlighten me? Christo |

I found out the reason why I couldn't import the Contacts into Outlook 2013 here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...f-206fd243339c
The solution i found was to create another profile in Outlook (Control Panel, Mail) WITHOUT the outlook.com email setup. I was then able to import a .pst file with my Contacts into Outlook and then I set up a Gmail account having set my Outlook account to forward to Gmail. I am principally an Apple man and it is because of these types of gyrations that I prefer the Mac. So many steops to do a seemingly simple thing. |
