We had some issues in the past weeks with one of our computers. It choked in the middle of an archive, and now I have many messages in one folder under my Inbox that won't go into the archive folder once I've opened it. I get the message:



Cannot move the items. The item cannot be moved. It was either already moved or deleted, or access was denied.

I can move one at a time, but it stays in the original folder as well as being copied to the archive folder. Sometimes the error message will appear in this case as well. Perhaps the issue is with the delete of the original message after the move?

We are using an Exchange Server if that makes a difference. Maybe the Exchange Server thinks they are gone and that's the issue. The thing is, these messages are all here and visible when I click on them. Some of them are already present in the archive, but many of them aren't. I don't want to delete the original folder until all its contents are safely archived, of course.

Any suggestions?
