I have a slight issue and have tried searching the net for answers and I keep running into dead ends. Hopefully someone here can help. I had to reformat my desktop PC recently and before it was done, I networked my Desktop and Laptop together and transferred everything that needed to be to the Laptop, including emails from Outlook Express. Now that I got my Desktop back up and running, I would like to transer everything back from the Laptop. When I copy all my .dbx files from the Outlook Express emails on the Laptop and network my Desktop, it is showing that the progam to open them are a word program and that will not work. On the laptop, it is as an unknown application and I am guessing that is how it is suppose to be. But when they get to the Desktop, its a word program. Therefore, I am not able to import them into Outlook. Not Outlook Express, but Outlook. Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this and help me be able to import these emails?
