Hi Taras,

If you take backup after the changing name like "Elizabeth" to "Liz" and then reinstall the contact then no duplicate issue occur. Actually it is depend upon the your outlook profile, if you reinstall the contact your old profile than it might be chance to see duplicate contact in you outlook. But if you configure new outlook profile and reinstall the contacts then there are no chance to duplicate contacts.
