Hi, i had to reformat my HD due to issues and I never taught of taking note of what way Outlook 2007 had controled both mine and my wifes email accounts. Basicaly we each have an email account and when an email arrived for me it went in to my mail folder and the same for my wife.
Ive got the emails back up and running but cant remember the "Message Rules" for this setting, Ive tried "Where my name is in the To Box" rule and specified my folder but both my wife and I are getting the same message twice. I know it's a small problem but annoying heres what I taught it would have been. Make new Rule New Rule Start from blank rule>>Click Next Tick box for "Where my name is in the To of Cc Box">>>Click Next Tick box for "Move to specifed folder">>>Click Next Select the folder for the email to go to >>>Click Next Finish>>>Apply>>>OK |

Thats all fine Dublin, bar your filter;
Don't use the "Where my name is in the To of Cc Box". Instead use the "through specified email account". In the drop down menu when you set this up you will be able to see both email accounts for you and your wife... providing you have it configured like i'm guessing you have. Ben. |
