My boss's outlook is exhibiting this strange behaviour. A small grey box appears before his signature whenever he goes to compose/reply in outlook 2003. I tried re-creating the sig but the problem persists. When I disabled signatures the box did not appear. It can be deleted easily enough but it's very annoying. He needs to be able to use the outlook editor as outlook crashes every time he tries to use word as an email editor. I will try and post a screenshot of the anomaly next time my boss is away from his machine.

After editing an email logo, a grey box appears before the signature line. Find the signature file, open it with Notebook and do a search and replace of this line of code:
"</xml><![endif]--><!--[if !mso]><object". Save it and the grey box disappears.
