ON WINDOWS 7: I use Outlook 2003. I also use a ticketing system called Changepoint. When I select and copy the ticket number from Changepoint to the clipboard, then paste it in the subject of an email in Outlook, I am suddenly prompted to log in to Changepoint. Why is Outlook reading this number as a hyperlink (it's not a hyperlink in Changepoint)?
Do I need to disable hyperlinks in the subject line? If so, how do I do that? |

There is an option that may help you in this situation. however, i only know its position in Outlook 2010 and not in 2003.
Go into your options and under Mail - Composing or Compose Messages, see if you have editor options. If so, under advanced - cut, copy, past - there is an option to keep or alter the content from other programs and to display them as just simple text.. Hope this helps. |
