Default hyperlinks in subject line

ON WINDOWS 7: I use Outlook 2003. I also use a ticketing system called Changepoint. When I select and copy the ticket number from Changepoint to the clipboard, then paste it in the subject of an email in Outlook, I am suddenly prompted to log in to Changepoint. Why is Outlook reading this number as a hyperlink (it's not a hyperlink in Changepoint)?

Do I need to disable hyperlinks in the subject line? If so, how do I do that?
