OneNote is very slow or freezes when changing the size of handwritten notes when the writing is over the half of the letter sized page. My laptop is i5 8GB Memory. Is there a way to fix this? Will it be better if I get an i7 laptop?

I am experiencing the same issue. Have the same hardware config. Sometimes I have just a small part that needs to be converted and that can take hours. I know that this is not the way it should work. I am still in the process of investigating this. Have tried changing language packs, pageversioning on and of, local notebook vs synced notebook. No avail yet but I will keep on trying. I don't think the i7 will make a difference for this particular situation.
