Hi,
I have a new machine that came with the 2010 Office starter edition installed and would like to put my 2003 full version in its place (or alongside). Is there any problem doing this? How do I go about deactivating my 2003 tethering to the old machine in order to transfer the license? (the motherboard failed on the old machine so I no longer have access to it). Thanks Last edited by Tucker26; 08-13-2011 at 07:39 AM. |

Hi
I have had the same issue whereby my old machine failed and I could not deactivate my Office version. What I did was just loaded my Office version on my new machine and when you try and activate it you should be prompted to contact Microsoft to ask for your Office Application to be activated on your new machine. If you explain what happend they will allow the activation on your new machine. Hope this helps. Tony(OTPM) |
