Recently, after updating my Address Book, my MS Office Word wants to auto-fill in the name of a contact whenever I start typing something that is spelled the same. I type in every and get a prompt to automatically fill in 'Every Woman's Life' from my contact list. While it's not crippling my use of Word it's getting rather annoying and I'd like to stop it / turn it off / whatever. How do I do this?

Hi crystaldb,
And if you agree to the prompt, do you get 'Shopping'? (Just kidding) Whatever has caused this behaviour is a setting in your email software - Word's only native auto-complete function is for dates.

Ok, so how do I change my Mail settings to stop this? I've looked through all of the Mail settings and nothing jumps out at me to change to stop this.

I have no idea what settings to change. Apart from not using a Mac, I don't know what email software you use and wouldn't be able to advise you.

Hi crystaldb,
A possible solution (assuming Mac Word has this feature): Go to Word Options|Addins > Manage > Smart Tags > Go and make sure any options related to email recipients are unchecked.
