ich hatte ein kleines Outlook-Problem, welches ich durch eine Office-Schnellreparatur versucht habe zu beheben. Leider hat das nicht geklappt. Dann folgte ich der Empfehlung der Online-Reparatur von Microsoft. Ohne zu wissen das damit Office komplett deinstalliert wird (was meiner Ansicht nach ein NoGo ist, jedenfalls ohne einen Hinweis auf die Deinstallation) führte ich diese durch.
Nach dem Verdauen des ersten Schocks habe ich Office 2021 neu installiert. Soweit so gut.

Nun lassen sich aber auf einmal keine Word- und Excel-Dateien mehr an die Sprunglisten in der Taskleiste anheften. Vor der De- und Neuinstallation gab es keine Probleme mit dem Anheften.

Im Programm selbst ist ein Anheften möglich aber eben nicht bei den Sprunglisten. Weder per Rechtsklick „An diese Liste anheften“ noch über Klick auf den Pin.

Das Problem betrifft bei den von mir genutzten Office-Programmen nur Word und Excel. Bei PowerPoint klappt das anheften ohne Probleme. Ebenso auch bei anderen Programmen wie Adobe etc., keine Probleme.

Wenn ich die Sprunglisten über das Startmenü aufklappe geht es ebenso nicht. In der Systemsteuerung ist das Speichern der Sprunglisten aktiviert. Testweise habe ich den Haken auch schon entfernt und wieder gesetzt.

Eine Google-Suche ergab, die Ordner

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinati ons
für die angehefteten Dokumente und

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestin ations
für die zuletzt verwendeten Dokumente

zu löschen. Leider sind diese bei mir aber überhaupt nicht vorhanden.
Im Übrigen aber auch nicht beim Powerpoint-Schlüssel (wo das anheften klappt). Vielleicht sind dies nicht die richtigen Registry-Einträge?

Zweite Lösungsmöglichkeit die ich ergoogelt habe … in der Registry die Sprunglisten für Word und Excel zu löschen. Hier wurde gesagt, bei den Schlüsseln

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\W ord\File MRU

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\W ord\Place MRU

alle Einträge mit „item“ zu löschen. Solche Einträge sind bei mir aber ebenfalls nicht vorhanden.
Weitere ernsthafte Lösungsansätze konnte ich bis dato nicht finden.

Ich verwende Office 2021 Professional Plus und Win 10 Version 22H2, Updates alle aktuell (bin für Win10 ESU registriert).

Hat jemand eine Idee was ich noch tun könnte? Vielen Dank.

After getting over the initial shock, I reinstalled Office 2021. So far, so good.

However, I can no longer pin Word and Excel files to the Jump Lists in the taskbar. Before the uninstallation and reinstallation, there were no problems pinning files.

Pinning is possible within the program itself, but not in the Jump Lists. Neither by right-clicking and selecting "Pin to this list" nor by clicking the pin icon.

The problem only affects Word and Excel in the Office programs I use. Pinning works perfectly fine with PowerPoint. The same applies to other programs like Adobe, etc., no problems.

It also doesn't work when I open the Jump Lists via the Start menu. Saving Jump Lists is enabled in the Control Panel. I've even tried unchecking and re-enabling it.

A Google search suggested deleting the folders

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinati ons
for pinned documents and

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestin ations
for recently used documents.

Unfortunately, these folders don't exist on my system.

Incidentally, they're also not present in the PowerPoint key (where pinning works). Perhaps these aren't the correct registry entries?

A second solution I found through Google is to delete the Jump Lists for Word and Excel in the registry. It was suggested here to delete all entries containing "item" in the following keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\W ord\File MRU

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\W ord\Place MRU

However, I don't have any such entries.

I haven't been able to find any other serious solutions so far.

I'm using Office 2021 Professional Plus and Windows 10 version 22H2, and all updates are current (I'm registered for Windows 10 ESU).

Go to:
%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar
and see if there are any orphaned Word and Excel entries there. If so, delete them and either:
1. Use the normal process for pinning Word and Excel to the TaskBar; or
2. Create shortcuts to Word and Excel on the desktop then drag them to the above TaskBar folder.
