Hi. I have now found that all my shortcuts on my desktop have mini brown cardbord boxes added to them. Picture attached.
Can these be put back to normal? |

Refresh Desktop: Right-click on the desktop and select "Refresh." This can sometimes resolve the issue.
Check OneDrive Settings: If you're using OneDrive, right-click on the OneDrive icon in the system tray, go to "Settings," and ensure that the "Always keep on this device" option is unchecked. Reset Shortcut Icons: You can reset the shortcut icons by right-clicking on each shortcut, selecting "Properties," and then clicking on "Change Icon" to restore the default icon. Restart Windows Explorer: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, find "Windows Explorer" under the "Processes" tab, right-click it, and select "Restart." |
