Can we buy Access separately?

Hello!

Earlier this year my husband and I bought MS Office Home & Student 2016.

I learned yesterday I'll need Access 2016 for some tech courses I'll be taking.

At the Microsoft products website, based on a very quick glance, it looks like Access is only available as part of another version of MS Office. Is that correct?

You cannot buy Access on its own - you need to buy an Office edition that includes it.
