The stop working is also true with word.
I have 2 PC: A & B both under windows 10.
In B Office 365 2016 is the only one installed. It works perfectly.
2 months later I installed Office 365 2016 on A (an Office 2007 previously installed)
But on A I get the error message :... has stopped...
Then and only then did I remove Office 2007. I reinstalled Office 2016 but still the same error.
I logged on Excel with Excel /safe. I looked at the apps: all unchecked
I uninstall Office 2016 and reinstalled it.
Now I get the same message when accessing it normally but.... trying the excel /safe I receive a new message:

"We are sorry, but Excel as run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Excel will need to be closed as a result.
Would you like us to repair now?"



I answer repair now. The excel screen dissapears now and no message about repair.
Can anybody give me a clue ?

Finally I found out the problems:
The last one was a space missing between excel /safe
The stopped working was: send to blue tooth checked - need to be unchecked

If you read the thread, you'll see that has already been done and the real problem was a faulty Bluetooth Addin. Faulty Bluetooth Addins are a quite common source of problems with MS Office.
