I was asked to test different versions of Microsoft Office applications to see if they were installed correctly and to see if the updated version of Office has any issues handling older documents.

For now what I am asking for is sample documents from a reputeable source that would handle this testing. Are these "preformatted documents" available for download from Microsoft?

I do not have more information than this at the moment.

NOTE: The versions of software that I use at home are possibly NOT the versions I am being asked to test....and I do not know what versions I will be asked to test.

Any direction to documents that are fully formatted would help as I can simply open them on site at the desktops to test wheteher or not there is an issue.
