I wouldn't have thought that a multi-user licence pack would have restrictions preventing its installation on a stand-alone PC. I also don't know what you mean by "it had been limited out". If you hadn't hung onto it for so long, you might have been able to return it to the place of purchase as being unsuitable, but I doubt you'd get very far with that now. Still, it might be worth a try (they may exchange for Office 2010 Home & Student, which allows installation on up to 3 PCs in the same household)

I looked through my online receipts and that had to have been an item that came without a receipt. So I am out.....but I will look for a student somewhere who might be able to get a copy of the MS Office Student.
