Things did NOT turn out the I or we would have liked it too. The Office 2010 installed just fine but would not or could not ACTIVATE.I call MS and they said the "key" was valid and good............and for $99.00 they would remotely fix the problem in my computer. I reminded them that it is not a problem with my computer, it was the ACTIVATION problem. So after 4 phone calls, I get a phone back late last night from a higher level supervisor (no doubt outsourced) a really nice man and he explained to me that the Key, Software was good BUT has to used on a corporation server and is not for home use. It is made to be used on (up to) 10 computers. And also it had been limited out............so the bottom line is a I but a bogus piece of software. NOW this was purchased (I can't remember when) about 12 - 18 months ago and sat on the shelf until yesterday. Although I am not happy about it, Microsoft was REALLY NICE about it all and did try to sell me other software.....but for only ONE computer and our house ahs 4 computers. Maybe that's what caught my eye when I purchased it and missed the other FINE print (
