I reformated my computer and I am trying to instal MS office 2003. I keep getting error 2349. I am running Vista home edition SP1. I installed SP2 last night thinking it may fix the problem but it didn't. I am also having issues installing my printer but I know that's not your problem, lol. Can somebody help me with this. Also I am not that computer savy so if you give me a solution with 100 steps please break it down like I was a 5 yr old so I can follow. I really do hope there is a simple solution though. Thanks for the help |

Hi rocksolid
Error 2349 can mean any number of things, including: • the CD/DVD is dirty or damaged; • the CD/DVD drive is defective; • the .NET framework needs to be updated; • the System32 folder contains version 1.0.603.0 or earlier of Cabinet.dll (you should have version 5.0.2147.1 or later).
