opening office file deletes copied text from windows clipboard

Hi, pls help cause can´t find in google nothing how to solve that prob. If i copy some text from mail or anywhere and want to paste in an opened excel, word etc. file i can do that without problem, but if i copy smth and then open some new office file, smth happens - i can´t paste anything, need to copy once more. pls advise
