Red face Toggle Merge Field Code Help Please

Hi Everyone,



I can now get a merge field to can the formate on a date from 01/07/11 to 1 July 2011 by using the toggle merge field and puting in

Code:
  {MERGEFIELD StartDate1 \@ "DD MMMM YYYY"} 
And can get it to add a word after to by doing
Code:
 {MERGEFIELD StartDate1 \f "Goodbye"} 
but i cant get it to do both?

i haver tried
Code:
 {MERGEFIELD StartDate1 \@ "DD MMMM YYYY"StartDate1 \f "Goodbye"} }
but it just does the first bit.

can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

please help

Hi Tony,

If the field is always populated, you can simply add the text after it. Otherwise, you need something like:
{IF{MERGEFIELD StartDate1 \@ YYMMDD} <> "000000" "{MERGEFIELD StartDate1 \@ "DD MMMM YYYY"} Goodbye"}
