Sorry about the cross posting. I was unaware, very new at this. Your etiquette article was very informative, and made a great deal of sense. The few times I've posted I have sometime cross posted, and didn't realize the interconnected nature of the great individuals who are volunteering. The responses have been very helpful. I went to the possible solution you recommended, and the Data Link Properties seemed to be looking for a server workgroup, or user name and password to log onto a server. I'm alrady logged onto a Novel server. In an effort to test, I copied the database to my desktop, but got the same errors. The issue seems to be just the password protection on the database. I tried another db without a password and connected right away. Any other thoughts? Again I do appreciate the etiquette education and your efforts to assist me.
