Combine Records when Mail Merge from Access
I have a parking permit database. You have can have a max of two cars on one permit. The way I have set it up is one table for users, one for cars. A second table for permit id inc user and date info. Then a 4th table linking the cars with the permit. that 4th table has composite keys as obv the permit ID here isnt unique.
So, when I mail merge, the database spits out permit id, expiry date and car reg according to this 4th table. however i want the final format on the printed permit to be: "permit id", "expire date", "car reg 1 / car reg 2" any clues please?! |
