Hi Macropod
Unfortunately not - I've only got the graphic to go on. I've just found a way of putting blocks of colour in, one for each letter of the last line. Unfortunately the address font is proportional and mixed case - I've now found out it contains a postcode - so I would not need to measure the font size in twips or something in order to control the number of blocks to use, so this is probably starting to to be too complicated to use. This is what I have at the moment. The ref line is a text box with the coloured blocks (ASCII 166) floating in the background anchored to the last line of the address: red line 2.jpg I suppose the easiest way to do this would be to have more control over the underline than word allows! |

OK, just had another idea - I've merged the last line again in a text box placed behind the address and made the text colour white, but the underline colour red.
This gives me this: red line 3.jpg As it's based on the same text, the width will always be right (I added a coule of spaces to the start of the merge field). My only problem now is that the line isn't thick enough. Is there a way to stretch a font vertically? - I can't increase the point size as it will then no longer be the right width. |

I think I just sussed it - variation on the above, use the text again, but make the background red as well as the text and you get:
red line 4.jpg Hopefully this will be of some use should anyone else get a similar issue - just posting here has helped me think this through and work it out. This is a great forum! |
