![]() I am using a mail merge to create 800+ annual salary letters. Some employees are receiving amounts for line items while others are not. I do not want the information to show on someone's letter if they are not receiving it. I have been able to do that using the If...then..else feature but it leaves a blank line. Is there a way to suppress a blank line when using an If..then..else rule? I am trying to suppress the blank lines after the COLA |

![]()
Include the line break in the if ... then construction.
Press the Enter key where you see ¶ { MERGEFIELD A }{ IF { MERGEFIELD B } <> "" "¶ Base Salary Retirement Contribution* { MERGEFIELD B }"}¶ { MERGEFIELD C }
